Warm Up

Unjudged warm ups will be held on Thursday. There will be a 2'6" and 3' warm up from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. A 2' and 18" warm up will be held from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The fence heights will not be changed during the time slots. For each time slot, two courses will be set up in the ring and both courses will be posted. You may select one course but not both.

This class is only open to CHJA members competing in the Hunter Classics and Medal Finals. Every qualified horse rider combination may pre-enter the warm up for a maximum of two trips. The two warm-up trips may be taken by the rider or their trainer. There is no training allowed in the ring during the warm up class. Like the Medal classes, you must pre-enter for the warm-up. Entering the warm-up without pre entering is grounds for disqualification from participating in the CHJA Hunter Classics or Medal Finals and/or the imposition of a $100 bandit fee which must be paid before you will be allowed to enter any Medal Class or Hunter Classic.

If you pre entered for a warm up trip(s), you may purchase one additional trip at the show on a first come first serve basis for $50. This second warn-up trip may be taken by the rider or their trainer. If you didn't pre enter for a warn up trip, you may purchase only one trip at the show at a price of $100 to benefit the Scholarship Fund.
